oddball OUT presented the third variation of Flame Con ! The World ’s Largest Queer Comic Con this weekend at The Brooklyn Bridge Marriott in NYC .
It would appear that good thing happen in leash , too , asGeeks OUTpresented the third edition of Flame Con ! The World ’s Largest Queer Comic Con this weekend at The Brooklyn Bridge Marriott in NYC . The two - day comics , arts , and amusement expo was created as a way of highlighting creators and celebrities from all corners of the LGBTQ eccentric pop music refinement spectrum .
Bleeding Cool was favourable enough to make it out to Brooklyn on Saturday to embrace the event and be able to apportion some of the sights and sounds from the Clarence Shepard Day Jr. with you , include the cosplay parade and contest . But before I get to that … thought I ’d divvy up with you some of the things that ruled about Saturday for me in person that you ca n’t of necessity catch on camera :

● Robin Lord Taylor(Gotham ) really love how to interact with the fans . I know there ’s that one-time cliche about a celebrity making buff feel special and that they ’re the only ones in the way when they fit them , but that was definitely the event with Taylor : his fan interaction is on point .
● There was a long ton of great coplay … but Him ? FromThe Powerpuff Girls ? gravely impressive , and my personal darling . Oh … and Catwoman ? The horde ? Someone want to get her in front of a microphone more often , because she has crude but righteously telling hosting / MC attainment .
● Sometimes , hoi polloi block that that are usually some really great control panel and treatment between the buying / selling , photo - ops and autograph sign language . From topics such asWriting Out , Not Down : Speaking genuinely to Queer Teen AudiencestoQueering Activism : How Fans Shift Narratives , Fight Evil , and Win , Flame Con hold attendees not only the opportunity to get word , but to take what they ’ve instruct and put it into activity .
