" As a director , he was amazing , and he took his time with everyone . He facilitate everyone develop their character and ensure they were there and connected . That was important .

Did you sense more air pressure given the undertaking of this scale of measurement ?

I felt the pressure of this as a bigger budget film than I ’ve ever done . The stakes were higher , but I did what I needed to do to prepare for it . I require to check that that I cross every MT and dot every I , and walk on set with all these amazing actors , you ’re like , " Wow ! I got to pull my weight here . "

Did you have a chance to talk to Jason , David , or any of the more veteran vet and intrude their brainiac about the foxiness or the industry in general ?

When we did the table read , all the actors talked about the guile with David , and we improvised and did thing . He got into the part ’s psyche and helped us modernise it . I do n’t guess David ’s a veridical small talk kind of guy , which , you know , lowly [ gag ] . So that ’s good , and Jason was great . He ’s very professional and he ’s an amazing soul to cultivate with . He knows what he want in a character . Everyone on set since this great grown production is super focused , has winker on , and it ’s this vision that they ’re focused on . As much as minuscule talk does help in a lot of stage set , in this one , everyone had this vision , and when we were on exercise set , we went for it .

We prepared and civilise for the stunt , and everything move . We did stunt training ; it was n’t like we jump in there and winged it . We go for it , and everything went swimmingly . Nothing took longer than I anticipate , just the opposite word . Some thing were faster than I wait . Everyone was on point . There were so many multitude on set . You have whisker , make - up , and so many multitude doing their task . It was meticulous and done very smoothly . Nothing cart on , and nothing that I opine could have been better . It was amazing .

Were there other genre work you desire to do more in the futurity ?

I enjoy this villain earned run average , so I would know to dive into it and develop it with different character , unlike people , and the same hoi polloi . I would love to work with them again . I have it off thriller action and anything that I can sink my tooth into .

What takeaway do you have from your whole experience on ' A Working Man ' you came out with ?

It ’s significant when developing the quality that if it was just about the credit line and it was n’t grow your character and improv - ing , it would n’t have worked quite as well . fancy all the piece of work , everyone else did and knowing how the character were all developed so strategically by each of the role player . put in the work is my best takeaway and when we all did , the projection came together . When everyone redact in equal total of effort , magic materialise , and always makes that magic pass off .

A Working Man , which also starsDavid HarbourandMichael Peña , comes to theaters on March 28th .
