No offense to Quinta at all , but Sheryl Lee [ Ralph , who plays kindergarten teacher Barbara Howard ] is just an American treasure . She so believes in the world of ' Abbott . ' And it ’s so fantastic to ascertain because she ’s so funny . But she ’s not needfully trying to be queer , base on what I can see . Yeah , she ’s really playing the truth of the here and now . And that kind of thing really work well on ' Sunny . ' People cogitate that what play well on ' Sunny ' is , like , loud , obnoxious comedy . It really does n’t work . What diddle really well is when people conceive that what they ’re trying to do will reach their end . Yeah , and , and Sheryl does that , and does it so well , and is so comical while she does it . Brunson Shares 2 " Always Sunny " Characters She Would Add to " Abbott Elementary " Cast : " I think Sweet Dee [ Olson ] . I do n’t know ; something about her dynamic in that schooling blow me away . Just a chaos agent in our world that was just so fun for me to watch , to play against , to see . And then I think I would also slip Frank [ DeVito ] because he ’s just fun to oppose to in our macrocosm . For so many reason , I still repent that we did n’t have a aspect of a tike just react to him . We did n’t have time . There was a variant of it where there was a tiddler just look at him , but he ’s just fun to oppose to . And our show is based a lot on reactions to cameras . Although , we realized in our world , we had to keep him away from the children . But he ’s a riot .
