Antarctic Press cancels all anthologies and Maker owned serial for now , as a result of Diamond Comic Distributors ' bankruptcy announcement
" AP has to make the hard selection to put a freeze on all anthologies and Maker owned titles as of February 1 . This will effect any cartoon strip not already solicited . Those that are solicit may come out depend on the Diamond position as AP will continue to embark comedian to them that already in the pipeline ( i.e. already print and/or shipping ) . It is a clayey nerve to write this as AP has the good Lord but the world is that we can not sustain out current business enterprise model due to unanticipated circumstances . Rest assure that any royal line requital owed will be compensate in a seasonable way . The only exception to this frost rule are any projection that are curb by AP . This includes any projects that involve NINJA HIGH SCHOOL , TOMORROW GIRL , PENGUINA , TIGER - X , HEAVEN SENT , SILVER CROSS , MIGHTY TINY etc . or owned by ANTARCTIC PRESS . We are adapting to new gross streams . thing that we were function on for some time . We are fortunate that our debt payload is very small and our cash reserve are enough to come across our immediate allegiance . In parliamentary procedure to keep the release tax revenue from Diamond we had to reconstitute our business model and unfortunately Lord possess and anthology titles do not presently correspond into that mannikin . Now could thing convert ? Yes . How it changes stay to be seen . If the chance to retort to doing creator owned titles and anthology again we will be first to start on . But for now you may see an interruption in your favorite AP titles . balance assured you may get them directly from us once we get them .
