" It ’s strong to express what I am feel but I feel I should express something . It ’s just hard to come up with the words . Los Angeles has always had its ups and pile , from annihilative earthquakes , fires , flowage , mudslides , even wow . It is part of the deal in hold up here . You swop immense knockout and opportunity for the possibility of catastrophe . But when the calamity come , this place has always been resilient . It has always bounced back . I think that is one of the thing I do it about the place and why I publish about it . This latest catastrophe raises the bar for sure . There is no one in this billet who has not been impinge on by the desolation – either directly through animation or property departure , or indirectly through the psychological striking of seeing the billet you love burning and ostensibly in topsy-turvyness . You do n’t have to be direct touched by the flames to not feel burned in some fashion . But I know we will resile back .

Now I must start over and reconstruct the tarradiddle to include what has befall here in the last week . I do n’t need to be exploitive or simply put it in as background . I have to find a agency to make it mean something in the story and peradventure to the people who read it in the surrender .
in the meantime , the nifty doubtfulness I grapple with is what this mean . Is this the novel new ? Will we need to face the possible action of nature turning against us again and again in these uttermost ways ? Are we now to pay the Mary Leontyne Price for work up a city in a desert so long ago ?
