The first part of our recap of the Warner Bros. CinemaCon control panel sport new footage from films like Elvis , Do n’t Worry Darling , and The Flash .
The Warner Bros. panel for CinemaCon is always monolithic and always contains more footage than we know what to do with . So the recap of the gore will be prospicient and irritating , but we ’re going to do our best to give you as much detail as we can remember from the two - hour panel that featured a ton of raw footage . Right out of the gate , the studio confirmed thatThe Batman 2is on the way , and they eject a first look picture ofMargot Robbieas Barbie , and she is unadulterated . We got a sizzle Virginia reel looking at many coming Warner Bros. projects , which we ’ll discourse later , and logos for projects that are coming soon , and we did n’t get to see anything from .
We get a luck to see an lengthy look atElvisfrom there . In full term of Warner Bros. pictures we are nervous for , this one is right at the top , but directorBaz Luhrmannconfirmed that starAustin Butleris doing his own singingRocketmanstyle and this is less of a biopic and more using Elvis to explore the time full point and zeitgeist around him . It goes for whimsicality , but starTimothée Chalametwasn’t exactly nous - blowing . It was n’t unfit , and this is n’t go to be a melodic where everything is sung as far as we can tell , but his spokesperson was n’t super telling . Maybe the song they were using in the former footage just was n’t showing off his chops in the best way possible . Wonkawill be released on December 15 , 2023 , and will likely have a vast mien at next twelvemonth ’s CinemaCon .
We rise into another DC movie rightfulness afterWonka , and that wasThe Flash . This was more early footage , and no one brought up the issues withEzra Miller . The footage was just introduce , and then we incite right along to show it off . Some of the footage is stuff and nonsense that we saw during DC FanDome , but we did see a great deal more . There are plenty of hints that Barry is go to do something dull and mess up the timeline . We got a great shot ofSasha Calleas Supergirl , some shot that show how Barry ’s stop number will be shown in this movie , but the big thing that drew a chemical reaction from the gang was the appearance ofMichael Keaton . We interpret a foresightful - hirsute , scruffy - looking version of him from behind . We witness out it ’s Keaton Batman because a door opens to reveal seven [ I think ? ] suit and one of the logos is black with yellow-bellied . We also get another shot of Keaton clean house up without the cowling , saying , " you require to get nuts ? Let ’s get haywire . " We still have no mind how they will approach Miller , but the flick still has a June 23 , 2023 release date .
Next , we have another example of a motion picture I only knew a mo about that is now at the top of my " must - see " list . There is always a smattering of these that come out of CinemaCon , and it ’s excited that we got another one . Warner Bros. discharge a first - look range fromDon’t Worry Darling , but directorOlivia Wildecame out and show up us a preview . She compared it toThe Truman ShowandInceptionand talked about live the unadulterated life and would you be willing to give that life-time up to do the right-hand thing . There is a very preternatural valley " something is not proper " feeling here over the entire matter as something weird is going on in this spot , and everyone is rest to each other . Put this one at the top of your list for this year . It will be released on September 23rd .
