Part two of our Warner Bros. CinemaCon presentation retread feature young footage from Shazam : Fury of the Gods , Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom , and more .
Welcome to part two of our recap of the Warner Bros. panel at CinemaCon . Since this gore was two hours of fairly much nothing but a crowd of new footage , this review got long , so seethe previously published part onefor the quietus of our coverage of this presentation . It was time to dive into more DC picture , and we moved on toShazam : Fury of the Gods . We had several cast members come out and talk about how they are plan to preserve the previous motion picture ’s tone in the continuation , which is good because the first one hit the correct timber . We also find out that there will be a time leap since so many of the kid actors film up like weeds . We date a poke with a lot more of the adult versions of the characters , and the one - liners look tremendous . This is one of the few movies that got move up recently and is now hail out on December 12th .
We bound from that direct into a behind - the - tantrum featurette fromAquaman and the Lost Kingdom . We find out that Black Manta has come into big mogul , and Arthur and Orm will have to team up up to take him down . The VFX in the behind - the - setting featurette was incomplete , but there were some squid golem that made me think ofThe Matrix . DirectorJames Wantalked about elevating this to the next level and about how a new tackle and way of shot really open up up the possibilities for him as a managing director . It will be release on March 17 , 2023 .
Wan got to stick around for the next Warner Bros. movie as well , and we got to talk aboutSalem ’s Lot . Wan got to talk about it shortly , but we did get to hear from directorGary Daubermanabout how he went for pragmatic personal effects . It ’s a minute hard to get laid one way or another when it comes to horror flick and whether or not it will trust on parachuting scares or atmospheric state . There was a pretty expectant jumping scare in the preview , but it does look like there is go to be some atmosphere here . The oculus of the lamia , in peculiar , are two pinprick of colors that glow in the dark .
Dwayne Johnson came out to close out the Warner Bros. presentation starting withDC League of Super - Petsto end the night . Johnson praise the animation style and said that a lot of this movie depends on the moral force between him andKevin Hart . We get a novel dawdler with some novel footage as well . We got a probability to see some of what appears to kvetch off the motion-picture show ; there was some sort of weird little creature that threw kryptonite at Superman and captures him . Many citizenry seem down on this movie , but it looks like a Saturday first light cartoon , and minor are likely going to adore it . It will be released on July 29th .
Finally , Black Adamwas our airless . Johnson peach about how this movie has been a dream of his for over a decade but that he and Warner Bros. did n’t really see a reason to hasten if they did n’t require to . He referred to Black Adam as the Dirty Harry of the superhero man , and then we get a trailer . We got a chance to see some more of Dr. Fate , who looks awesome , and we also got to see a little more of Hawkman , Atom Smasher , and Cyclone . This movie will be auditioning members of the Justice Society of America , and at one point , someone says to Black Adam that " champion do n’t do n’t down people , " and he reply with , " well , I do . " So this will be a moral grey area of the DC universe . The panel ended after expose a long ton of clobber and open us a band to look forward to this year and next .
