Countdown: Jensen Ackles on How Series Happened, Derek Haas
" In the wake of ' The Boys , ' I signed a batch with Amazon . They wanted to develop something with me in mind , so I had a few group meeting with different writers and different form of takes for shows , " Ackles shared regarding how the serial publication came to beduring a premature weekend fan event . " When I met Derek Haas , who created ' Countdown ' and has written all 13 playscript , I just clicked with him immediately . He and I actually mature up in the same township ; we went to neighboring high school , so we had a quite a little in common right field off the bat . But he ’s just a really corking narrator , and he comes from a foresighted line of write really kind of acute stuff . And so the type that he created , I just felt like I could tell that chronicle in the world that he was also creating . That led to more meeting , and then that lead to some outline . I take to read the first script , and I just really care where it was move . I liked the kind of worldly concern that he was set it in , and I got aroused about it , " he tot up .

" There are some twists and turns with this show ; there are some giving reveals , so to speak . So I ’m excited for you guys . I ’m excited to get it done – we ’re about midway done with the season decently now . I reckon they ’re shooting for June , in all likelihood – going next summer , and I ’m delirious to see what you guy cable think and to see it once it ’s on its feet . "

Along with having make the series , Haas will also answer as showrunner and executive producer .
