I do n’t know what it is about the two weeks before San Diego Comic - Con but everyone suddenly goes delirious . Across two posts today , I reported the word thatPenguin Random House was buy Boom Studios , and making redundancies . ComicBook.com has nowpartially backed up my report . And now I get the word that the little boutique strip publisher Dstlry has pulled statistical distribution from Lunar Distribution in favour of going single with Diamond Comic Distributors . This is the first sentence that any publisher in the lineal marketplace , that was being distributed by another distributor as well , or rather of , Diamond , has decide to go undivided with Diamond instead .
So , as Boom Studios gets bought by PRH , Dstlry leave Lunar for Diamond . That Dtsrly is co - ground byChip Mosher , formerly of Boom Studios , did not escape my notice .
Dstlryhas sign a multi - year worldwide distribution agreement with Diamond Comic Distributors to exclusively spread its products to the North American and outside comic book of account specialization market .
