Bleeding Cool : So what was the most difficult part of playing like a survivalist , and was there a finicky scene or sequence in interrogative sentence that took a little longer to shoot ?
I ’m playing somebody who ’s " not the better person , " to say the least . Any clip you ’re playing characters who are a bit reprehensible and have a different moral compass than you do , you need to find a way in , see their man , and not judge what they ’re doing . It was fun because the show was about getting everybody to like [ Charlie ] , magical spell , and charm them .
Once the shoe overleap , the scenes after , where I ’m no longer trying to do that , and I ’m this dreaded thing . Those are difficult , and it ’s heavy sometimes to say sure lines or do certain affair where it ’s unvoiced not to judge the quality ; judge yourself doing it . Luckily , it was in service to the fib and everyone on set : actors , crew , director , and writers , everyone . We were all on the same page about what that needed to be . That was helpful , but once the gloves come off , they came off with this guy . That was hard .
Can you talk in short about your experience with your costars , what they brought with their bearing , and how they helped with your performance ?
It ’s a wondrous mathematical group of actors and they ’re all better citizenry as good as they are histrion . I joined the show maybe three weeks into their shooting , and that can be tricky sometimes when you ’re not there mighty from the beginning because : A , you ’re not there when they ’re kind of getting to happen their groove and compute out what it is . B , you need to number in and do your job . I do n’t want to abuse on anybody ’s toes or disrupt the elbow room they ’re doing it .
It ’s easy sometimes for masses to be arrange in their way , but Jessica [ Frances Dukes ] , Alexander [ Ludwig ] , and everyone else were so wonderfully welcome to me and made me feel so comfortable , especially in a part like this , where I must come in with a character that bulldoze everyone around him , which could be difficult to do on bent . They were so game , so gracious to me , and allowed me to make out in and do that . I ’m thankful to them and for everybody in the way that they treated me .
