Bleeding Cool : What intrigued you about ' Gunslingers ? '
Oh , mankind ! What did n’t connive me about hitman ? ! The first affair that intrigue me about Gunslingers was who direct it , Brian Skiba , who I crop with a foresightful while back , about seven twelvemonth ago , on a little much smaller film , a Lifetime flick we worked on ( ' Left for Dead ' in 2018 ) . Oh , man , that ’s a dependable question . I ’ve studied as an actor for a longsighted meter . I have my mental process I apply to about everything that I do . This particular one , because the role was so important , the clock time on set for me was so tenacious . I was there for the intact footrace of it . I did not have that much time to preparation because I was told about this not even a calendar week before we started take . I had to lean on my technique , drill , push the hyperdrive button on it , and get going nimble .

In term of some of the proficient stuff , the ordnance shooting , cavalry horseback riding , and all that stuff , that came from the documentation team around us , which was unbelievable . This group called5150 Action[Production ship’s company ] ran all our stunt and the gymnastic horse stuff . We had an incredible handler and had these awesome armorers , which were important on a set like this . You ’ve sire guy rope who not only bed their way around the weapon but are following protocol to the letter , not to name they can teach you some history about what you ’re using because there ’s a pile of creativity in that , too . Right away , any break between shoots , which I had a few days before I protrude cooking because Cage was in town and pink his seed out . I had a bit of meter to meet my horse , whose name was Card Shark , get a pistol in my hand , learn all about that , and start prepping . Every bit of downtime , we were turn over opportunity to prosecute with those things . A flock of training was happening the right way on set .
How do you break down your brother dynamic with Stephen Dorff ’s Thomas ? Was it something you worked a backstory with him to assist your chemistry ?
It ’s interesting with picture show ; you arrive at the set , but you ’re a fish out of water , no matter what . I must tell you , it was not concentrated for me to drum up some tenseness between Stephen and me because , in existent life , this is an actor I ’ve admired for a farseeing clip .
