Mega City Comics of Camden in London has been saved from stoppage … but by whom ? Bleeding Cool dig into the evidence

Last year , Bleeding Coolreported the news that the longstanding London funny book store of 43 years , Mega City Comics in Camden would be closing afterthe owner go to bed . Though the shop has certainly had a boost in attending in the recent calendar month , with a closedown down sale from heaven . But we now have some more heavenly news from Mega City employeeVik Delucawho publish ;

" Mega City Comics will be continuing under new ownership , as the current owner , Martin , will be retiring at the end of January 2025 . While this marks the end of an epoch , I ’m excited for the futurity of the store , and for the new instruction it will take under its novel leadership . As for myself , I will be stick and guide the store in its newfangled direction , and the email adress promo@megacitycomics.co.uk will soon be closed . Well , who could that be ? One clue is the UK Companies House registration for a fresh Mega City Comics limited ship’s company , back in September last year , byJoshus PalmanoandPeter Salmondto 1 Berwick Street , the owners and location of Gosh Comics in Soho , London . Has Gosh Comics bought Mega City ? Hold your Judge - Dredd - on - sawhorse . I understand that while this was sure an effort from the boy at Gosh Comics to buy Mega City Comics , it did not fall to realization . I will be grasp in this weekend to see if I can discover on the nose who has bought the store , and what their plan are for it . I am aware of a bit of bidder , and I guess I have to sum Gosh Comics to the list . But who came through with the good for this most historic of London comic Holy Writ stores ? Let ’s see what I can dig out over the weekend …
