Yesterday saw the sacking ofSaga#42 byBrian K VaughanandFiona Staplesfrom Image Comics . Was this the answer to life , the universe and everything ?
I really desire not . Cos it ย was a toughie .
I ’m nervous about reading Saga # 42 . It ’s the end of their current arc and I do n’t know if I can take that this week .

It also worked far better in photographic print than in digital . By least sandpiper of doing the kind of affair that funny playscript do so well , using the actual act of turn a pageboy to generate emotion .
If you have a inclination to get emotional , you might desire to void reading Saga # 42 . That said , I ’d say it ’s deserving the risk ! ๐

Because in this issue there was death . Of characters old , new , unobserved . And then , as the comic ledger conclude with a full black Thomas Nelson Page with one caption , the pageboy is turn . To a two-fold page spread of blackness . And again . And again . And the back cover , also black , with only the UPC box seat to check the darkness . Eight pages of Black person , one after the other , hammering home the finality of the death we ’ve just witnessed . And no light at the end of the tunnel , no matter how many page you ferment , your act of lifting the page making you complicit in the hopelessness of the action .
