The story of Kate Kristopher , once the most famous explorer of an Earth far more fantastic than the one we know , forced to return to the adventurous aliveness she left behind when a family closed book threatens to demolish everything she spent her life protecting . With camera in helping hand . On the right , how she is two geezerhood later . Much has convert , andShutter#22 wants to bespeak it all out .
And the interior do the same as well . Each page of offspring 22 has the same layout as its corresponding page of issue 1 .
With all sorts of other similarities and parallels play off as well . Though with Leslie Townes Hope and wonderment …
… replaced with something darker and more dangerous .

This is the kind of thing that Watchmen did well . – but here it is spread across years , make it an even more stunning accomplishment .
