James Lee Williams , 32 , was a Welsh role player , singer , and performing artist who adopted the puff name in tribute to iconic fashion designerDame Vivienne Westwood . The official statement released reads : " It is with Brobdingnagian sadness that we let you know our beloved James Lee Williams – The Vivienne , has passed this weekend . James was an incredibly loved , warm - hearted , and awesome individual . Their crime syndicate are heartbroken at the expiration of their son , buddy , and uncle . They are so proud of the wondrous things James achieved in their life and career . We will not be releasing any further details . We please require that James ’s folk are given the time and concealment they now need to process and grieve . "
